The Heart Of Time

Time travel may offer ambitious individuals or disillusioned souls filled with regret an opportunity to change their lives, allowing them to engage in grand endeavors of "the rise and fall of nations, the continuation of the extraordinary." However, time travel also signifies the loss of conveniences; while one can consult N wives when faced with personal dilemmas, the ease of querying "Baidu" for external matters is gone, along with the habitual presence of "Marlboro" and "Hongta Mountain" in one's mouth, the liquor poured into cups like "Wuliangye" and "Remy Martin," and the handy yet stylish tool "Zippo." Even the desire for a more flavorful meal is thwarted by the absence of "Tai Tai Le," "Mei Ji," or "Lee Kum Kee." Only after the iron curtain falls amidst the torrents of time and space do time travelers realize how nostalgic and precious that world truly is. The protagonist, Ye Tao, is one among the many time travelers. As an industrial designer, a person who embodies quality of life and design philosophy in his very essence, he must unfold blueprints and create everything he can conceive.
